Role Overview

Must frequently sit, walk, stand, handle tools, lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, and work in a warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel semi-trucks and trailers. Ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties
- Assess and follow preventive maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize work orders and identify issues
- Utilize maintenance systems for documentation of repairs
- Perform DOT inspections, repair air brake systems, replace key components (starters, batteries, alternators), and diagnose electrical and cooling system issues
- Maintain service records and repair documentation
- Service trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulic liftgates
- Diagnose refrigeration issues, replace sensors, repair electrical and starter systems, and calibrate temperature controls
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years related experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Must maintain essential mechanic tools
- Ability to complete certification for safe driving and equipment handling
