Key Duties
- Operate and monitor reefer units to maintain required temperature conditions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and address safety issues
- Follow FMCSA regulations and company safety procedures
- Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documentation
- Plan routes and communicate effectively with dispatch for smooth operations
- Deliver freight safely while adapting to varying weather conditions
- Valid CDL-A and experience driving refrigerated/reefer loads
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA compliance and log requirements
- Ability to work reliably on long-haul routes and in changing weather
- Commitment to safety, inspection standards, and on-time performance
- Comfort coordinating with dispatch and managing day-to-day operational needs
