Paint Technician | Alabaster, AL
CEG’s growing industrial/environmental services client is seeking a Paint Technician to join their growing team in Alabaster, AL! The Paint Technician will use a keen eye for detail to operate abrasive blasting equipment to apply various abrasives to clean, remove corrosion or other contaminants on materials. Responsibilities:
Protect surface or items that are not to be painted using masking tape or other materials.
Pressure washing, grinding and abrasive blasting.
Knowledge of blasting equipment and set up.
Able to perform tasks using brushes and rollers.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Follow all safety regulations.
Able to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the painting trade.
Skill in estimating time and material requirements of work projects assigned.
Able to meet deadlines.
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED certificate required
Valid driver's license required
Industrial painting or sandblasting experience preferred
Physical stamina
Attention to detail
Must be self-motivated with good initiative and flexibility.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug testing.
