Job Summary
Coastal Ear Nose and Throat is seeking a Call Center Representatives with strong computer skills, excellent work ethic and the ability to adapt in a busy and dynamic environment.

Qualifications:
- Answers the telephone pleasantly
- Schedules patient appointments: explains to patient which pieces of information they are to bring, provides a range of potential charges for the visit and the patient’s financial obligation, and provides patients several scheduling options, follows physician-approved scheduling guidelines
- Confirms guarantor and insurance eligibility at the time of scheduling.
- Instructs patients over the telephone how to complete registration
- on our Patient Portal before they arrive for their appointment, advises if they wish
- to complete in office, early arrival is necessary.
- At least two years experience in a medical office, telemarketing or other customer service position
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and interacting with Internet applications
- Knowledge of practice management and word processing software and EMR/EHR systems
- Ability to perform multiple and diverse tasks simultaneously
- Proven experience handling irate patients/customers and dealing with conflict
- Familiarity with scheduling and rearranging appointments
- Working knowledge of managed care
- Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Monday through Friday
- 8-hour shift (must be available Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8am-5pm and able to work one rotating late night per week until 6:30pm on either Monday or Thursday).
