Coastal Detox is a family-owned and operated medical detox and residential treatment facility in Stuart, Florida. We take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients and staff.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the overall cleanliness, comfort, and safety of our 44-bed facility.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, and common areas daily.
- Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, nursing stations, and treatment areas.
- Restock supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) as needed.
- Handle laundry, including linens, towels, and patient bedding.
- Properly dispose of trash and biohazard materials.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
- Work collaboratively with nursing and maintenance staff to maintain a clean, organized environment.
Schedule:
- Must be available to work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (required).
- Shifts are 8–10 hours per day.
- Additional shifts are available — up to 40 hours per week — for those seeking full-time hours (weekends must be included).
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus).
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
