Job Title: Account Representative
Position Location: Raleigh, NC. Hybrid Position, must live locally.
Job Summary:
The Account Representative supports the financial management and operations of the Credit Union by resolving member issues/requests by various methods such as phone, email, mail etc. for maintenance and processing of transactions to shares, general ledgers, and loans.
As a key contributor to the Coastal team, your responsibilities will be:
(50%) Wire Processing within limits of wire policy
- Processing Outgoing Domestic and International wires via phone
- Processing incoming wires
- Researching and resolving any issues with processing wires
(20%) IRA Processing
- Processing IRA/HSA withdrawals/contributions
- Staying up to date on any IRS regulatory changes or limits
(30%) Account Maintenance
- Accurately processing high-volume transactions
- Researching and resolving member account issues or concerns
- Researching and responding to member inquiries concerning account tax/statements/check copies
- Responding to mail requests as well as member and employee inquiries
- Reviewing/processing electronic requests
- Processing VOD, change of address, Deluxe check orders and Medicaid/SSN requests
- Researching related Deposit Services requests such as garnishments and levies

Experience:
- One-year of call center account processing experience in a financial institution
- Data entry, IRA transactions, and experience processing wires preferred
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Essential cognitive/physical/social requirements of position:
Must be able to learn and retain information; remain in a stationary position; constantly operate a computer; and converse with others on a continual basis.
