Position Summary
At Coastal, we’re looking for a dynamic and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensed in Connecticut to join our growing team. In this dual role, you'll not only provide high-quality psychiatric mental health care, but also mentor and supervise APRNs and APRN interns—helping shape the next generation of psychiatric providers.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for Coastal clients across the lifespan.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
- Provide ongoing monitoring of client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, client-centered care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with Coastal policies, HIPAA regulations, and clinical standards.
- Participate actively in case consultations, clinical supervision meetings, and interdisciplinary team discussions.
- Supervise and support APRNs and APRN interns through chart reviews, case consultations, and clinical skill development.
- Provide clinical education and learning opportunities for Coastal’s clinicians on psychiatric medication advancements and best practice guidelines.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices, research, and emerging developments in psychiatric care.
- Participate in Coastal’s community engagement initiatives, including internal workshops and external events.
- Support the continued growth and expansion of Coastal’s services throughout Connecticut through clinical leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing with a focus on psychiatric/mental health
- Licensure: Active APRN license in the state of Connecticut
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in adult, adolescent or child psychiatry; prior supervisory experience is preferred
