We are looking for a Full Time Pharmacist to join our team! We are an independent specialty pharmacy. You will be responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners. Hours are 9 am to 6 pm. No weekends or major holidays.

We are looking for a Full Time Pharmacist to join our team! We are an independent specialty pharmacy. You will be responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners. Hours are 9 am to 6 pm. No weekends or major holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Compound and dispense prescribed medications
- Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medications
- Provide patients with pertinent drug information
- Supervise and maintain records of all medications
- Supervise technicians and clerks
- Previous experience in retail pharmacy, compounding pharmacy and/or aseptic techniques
- Applicants must have either a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or their Pharm. D. and be licensed in Georgia with all held licenses in good standing.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with professionalism and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work effectively.
- Strong mathematical and computer skills
- Capable and willing to wear all protective wear as required by the State Board of Pharmacy, including but not limited to a mask, gloves, gown, hair net, beard cover and safety goggles
- Passionate desire to learn/execute compounding, alternative therapies.
- Knowledge and willingness to tackle USP 800, 797 and 795 compliance
