Lead Exterior Cleaning Technician (Seasonal, Full-Time)
Coastal Cleaners – Southern Maine
Coastal Cleaners is a growing local company based in Southern Maine, and we’re gearing up for a busy exterior cleaning season. We’re looking to hire two exterior cleaning technicians, one of which will be a Lead Technician running a crew.
This position will start late April to early May, with paid in-person trainings once a month leading up to the season.
The Role
As a Lead Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
- Running a crew on daily exterior cleaning jobs
- Driving company vehicles (box truck, truck & trailer, van — depending on the job)
- Window cleaning (interior & exterior)
- Pressure washing and soft washing houses and exteriors
- Speaking with customers on-site in a professional, friendly way
- Pointing out additional services when appropriate (light sales)
- Representing the company well at every job
- Following company systems, safety rules, and job protocols
- Making sure work is done right, not rushed
We’ll train you on the sales side — you don’t need to be a “salesperson,” just comfortable talking to people and spotting opportunities.

- Able to communicate clearly with customers
- Open to learning light sales skills (training provided)
- Professional, respectful, and confident on job sites
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Trainable, open-minded, and willing to learn our systems
- Reliable and consistent — this matters more than anything
- Able to handle responsibility and lead by example
- Management or crew-lead experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
Training & Schedule
- Paid, in-person training once a month before the season starts
- Full-time work during the exterior season
- Busy spring through fall with steady hours
