Job Description:
We are a family-friendly company and welcome applicants who are stay-at-home parents or need a flexible schedule. Candidates must be able to dedicate focused work time during scheduled hours.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday within the hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Required: 4–5 total hours per day
- Work blocks: 2–3 consecutive hours at a time
- Preferred schedule: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
- Occasional Saturdays or Sundays for staff meetings or events
Most days will be work-from-home, with occasional in-person training or collaboration days.

Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls (during working hours)
- Post job listings and communicate with applicants
- Schedule interviews via phone
- Conduct virtual interviews via Google Meets (professional setting required)
- Contact references via phone, email, or text
- Send and confirm background checks
- Track CPR certifications and ensure compliance
- Complete caregiver orientations
- Assist with performance management (including discipline or terminations)
- Attend weekly team meetings (potentially in person in Moyock)
- Assist with hiring strategies (colleges, events, outreach)
- Stay active in caregiver communication platforms (GroupMe)
- Schedule and attend hiring events and staff meetings (approximately one Saturday per month)
- Provide ongoing support for long-term placements
- Support management with additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in hiring, childcare, or a related field (nanny, teacher, daycare, etc.)
- Must be dependable and able to commit to consistent daily working hours
- Ability to work 2–3 consecutive hours
- Comfortable balancing work responsibilities in a home environment
- Tech-savvy and able to learn CRM systems
- Strong communication skills with a positive, professional demeanor
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Able to work both independently and as part of a small team

- Children may attend occasional in-person training or collaboration days if needed
- This role has the potential to grow and expand as Coastal Child Care continues to grow, including increased hours and responsibilities for the right candidate
