What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procedure Scheduler - Cardiology position at Coastal Cardiology?

What You’ll Do:
- Schedule interventional and non-invasive cardiology procedures
- Ensure prior authorizations and referral paperwork are complete before scheduling
- Communicate clearly and confidently with physicians, facilities, and patients
- Manage scheduling in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic setting
- Return calls promptly and prioritize tasks throughout the day
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance
- Accurately enter and manage data in the EHR (Cerner experience is a plus)
- Assist as needed with other healthcare administrative tasks.

- Experience in a specialty or cardiology practice preferred
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong multitasking skills
- A team player who’s also comfortable speaking with physicians
- Excellent attendance and dependability
- Ability to adapt quickly and remain calm under pressure
