What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant -Templeton position at COASTAL CARDIOLOGY?
We have a FULL TIME opening for an experienced MA. You will be trained onsite with experienced MAs.
This position is for the Templeton office, on rare occasions you may be asked to cover absences at our SLO location.
This is a full-time position: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Duties include rooming patients, prepping charts, taking vitals, EKGs, electronic charting, telephone messages, scheduling procedures, assisting cardiologists and APPs as needed, and other duties as assigned by supervisor, manager, and/or administration.
Solid data entry skills are required as we are a paperless office - knowledge of Cerner Ambulatory EHR is a plus.

You must have attended a medical assisting school (required), and have at least 2 years of experience (preferred).
