What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pay station Sales Associate position at Coastal Car Wash?

Due to needing to relocate to another state, our all-star paystation associate will be leaving us at the end of June. We are looking for another all-star! This is a full time position with a lot of weekday hours.
We are seeking someone who enjoys talking to customers. This person needs to truly know customer service. Someone who can smile, be warm and welcoming, conversate with patrons, and be uplifting for folks having a bad day. We would like someone who is comfortable being outside for longer periods of time and has the knack for upselling. You will be asked to ring up our customers at our pay station, help keep the self-serve vacuum area looking neat, and to help sell club memberships. Most days you will earn closer to the $18-$19/hr range.
This position would most likely work 5 days a week (mostly Monday through Friday as we have a part time associate who works weekends), from about 9:00 on most days until 5pm (sometimes 8 or 8:30 on Saturdays, 8:30 on Sundays). While weekends usually won't be needed, it would be nice to still have availability in case we do need to add you to one of those days. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are the three busiest days of the week.
It will require a lot of standing during the shift as well as being able to withstand the weather. Some days can be hot and some days can be cold. We always do our best to make sure we keep our employees warm/cool!
