Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team on-site, at our growing wealth management firm. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm's marketing and client engagement strategy through coordination of the firm’s strategic events. This position requires a mix of creativity, communication skills, and a strong understanding of the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, promotion, and execution of client appreciation events, seminars, webinars, and sponsorships.
- Serve as a liaison with vendors, venues, and non-profits to ensure smooth event logistics.
- Manage budgets for event activation, promotional media and charitable sponsorships.
- Support post-event follow-up and lead capture processes to enhance relationship-building efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in financial services or a professional services environment.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to creatively communicate financial topics clearly.
- Comfortable networking with small business owners and individuals at local events including Chambers of Commerce, Charities, etc.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools including LinkedIn, HubSpot, and Canva.
- Experience with email marketing and CRM systems including Salesforce and HubSpot is a plus.
- Available to attend evening or weekend events as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
