What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advertising Sales position at Coastal Angler Gulf Coast?
Job Overview:
Busy season is fast approaching and we seek an energetic and experienced outside Sales Representative to join our Sales Team. In this position, you will be responsible for new business development and managing our Florida Keys, FL territory for the purpose of growing our media platforms for our monthly outdoor publication that currently reaches over 3 million monthly subscribers nationwide.
Position main focus:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase brand awareness to drive new sales opportunities calling on business owners and decision makers within assigned territory
- Manage your clients advertising campaigns across our digital, print, video, and social media platforms
- Network with various groups/events/industry shows to further develop brand awareness and generate home grown leads
- Oversee your clients advertising materials, design, ad layout, making adjustments as needed to ensure client retention
- Manage positive relationships with customers
Experience needed to be successful:
- Prior sales experience preferably in advertising, outside sales, cold-calling, etc.
- Knowledge of the sales process from lead generation, opening new doors, building rapport, educating prospects on new product offerings, closing new sales, and following up with excellent customer service
- Proficient in marketing automation tools and platforms; word, excel, etc.
- Outside sales in a B2B environment is a plus
