Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles such as limousines, shuttle buses, school buses, box trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to all passengers, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical knowledge of assigned vehicles, including routine vehicle maintenance checks.
- Plan routes efficiently to meet schedules and client needs while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting as needed, offering support for individuals with mobility challenges.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Keep detailed records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times when representing the company.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving, limousine services, shuttle driving, or delivery driver roles.
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g.,
driver license, bus driver license). - Experience operating various vehicles such as school buses or box trucks is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required.
