What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Installation Manager position at COAST TO COAST TURF LLC?
Job Purpose
Under general supervision of a crew leader. Performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled duties related to construction of job sites for Synthetic Turf Fields.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operates skid loaders andforklifts.
- Performs required manual labor in construction and maintenance projects; checks and services assigned equipment. Performs routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Safe operation of powered & non-powered hand tools and other tools related to job.
- Trains less skilled employees in safe operation and care of equipment.
- Performs any or all duties normally assigned to less skilled employees; performs other related duties as required.
- Have considerable knowledge of safety procedures and hazards related to construction, maintenance, and equipment operation.
- May function as a lead worker, on a limited basis.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Must be drug free & pass pre-employment.
- Must be able to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time.
- Considerable knowledge of equipment operations and construction and maintenance procedures.
- Must possess a working knowledge of grades and blueprints and work layout.
- Skill in efficient operation of assigned equipment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees and general public.
- Superior written, verbal, and negotiation/sales skills, Industry knowledge preferred

Qualifications
- Education: HS diploma/GED required
- Experience: One (1) year experience as an Equipment Operator or four (4) years of experience in construction or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Courses/Certifications/Training: Must possess & maintain a valid Driver’s License. Continuing employment is dependent on ability to maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate. Continuing employment is dependent on ability to maintain a DOT Medical Card.
- Must be drug free & pass pre-employment.
- Must be able to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time.
- Considerable knowledge of equipment operations and construction and maintenance procedures.
- Must possess a working knowledge of grades and blueprints and work layout.
- Skill in efficient operation of assigned equipment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
