Job Title: Assistant Manager
Hourly Rate: $21 - $22 per hour

Schedule: Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays

We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Assistant Manager to provide coverage on Tuesday, Saturdays, and Sundays. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and supporting operations during high-traffic days. Responsibilities include assisting customers with providing facility tours, processing rentals, handling payments, and ensuring a secure, clean, and welcoming environment. Prior leasing or customer service experience is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Greet self-storage customers and answer phones & email


• Show & rent out storage units


• Complete the lease paperwork


• Collect and apply payments


• Sweep and make ready vacant storage units


• Turn Leads and Reservations into rentals


• Assist Regional Manager


• Enforce storage facility rules and regulations and assist with tenant disputes


• Respond to tenant inquiries, work orders, and concerns promptly and with proper documentation


• Assist the Regional Manager in maintaining the curb appeal of the facility and in ensuring the facility is up to government and environmental regulations


• Ensure employee compliance with the Washington State Residential Landlord & Tenant Act

Qualifications  

• High School education or equivalent


• Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form


• Previous clerical/administrative experience and experience with office computers and software


• Must have reliable transportation


• Able to speak to tenants and maintain good working relations with other team members and any contract laborers working on the property
