Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse/Prodution Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and materials handling, with a strong understanding of operating heavy equipment such as pallet jacks, (double walkie) This role is critical in ensuring efficient order picking, shipping, and receiving processes within our facility.ResponsibilitiesOperate pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move products throughout the warehouse.Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and assist in order picking processes.Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized warehouse environment.Follow OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times.Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical functionality.Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, verifying quantities and quality of incoming and outgoing shipments.Support warehouse management systems by accurately documenting movements of goods.QualificationsPrevious experience in warehouse distribution or materials handling is required.Electric Pallet jack experience.Knowledge of order picking processes and shipping & receiving procedures.Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the shift.Experience with RF scanners or similar technology for inventory management is a plus.Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Company DescriptionCoast Personnel Services is a privately held staffing company with offices across the United States.
