Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Member Service Representative (MSR). This position has become available due to an employee relocating to North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail-oriented, and committed to deliver exceptional service as the primary point of contact for our credit union members.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist members in person, by phone, or electronically in a professional manner.
- Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, checks processing, transfers, and loan payments.
- Open new accounts and explain credit union products and services.
- Resolve member inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.
- Promote financial wellness by educating members on available resources.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience working with the public in face-to-face customer service environments.
- Experience of cash handling and check payments.
- Previous experience as a credit union or bank teller desirable.
- Experience working in a role requiring customer service problem solving activity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in finance or business a plus.
