Patient Care Coordinator- Reception
Coast Injury Medicine is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, providing them with designated paperwork and consent forms for proper record keeping.
-Accurately document medical information in the electronic health record system (EHR).
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Handle patient inquiries via phone and in person while providing excellent customer service.
- Assist with administrative tasks to include (but not limited to) : appointment scheduling, incoming/outgoing phone calls, medical records, texting, emailing, faxes, etc.
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and patient waiting area.
Knowledge and Skills:
-Must be organized and detail-oriented
-Strong initiative and planning skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Bilingual- preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and administrative support in a healthcare office environment preferred.
- Experience with Patient Electronic Health Records and Practice Management Systems; working knowledge of eClinical Works a plus
Education and Work Experience:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Experience in a medical office setting required (experience in Orthopedic/pain management a plus)
