Sales Associate (Part-Time/Full-Time)

We’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team in beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea. Our shop is rooted in community, and many of our clients are locals and returning guests — so building genuine relationships and creating memorable experiences is at the heart of what we do.

What You’ll Do
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional, personalized service
- Operate the POS system accurately (cash handling and credit card processing)
- Up-sell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items or upgrades
- Restock merchandise and maintain organized inventory
- Keep the sales floor clean, safe, and visually inviting
- Help create an atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and loyal clients
What We’re Looking For
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with customers
- A positive, customer-first mindset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Weekend availability required
- Ability to work closing shifts (up to 9pm during summer and holidays)
