Direct Support Professional – Overnight Sleep Shift

Locations: We have positions available in Ghent and Valatie.
Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position ranges from $16.50 to $16.75 per hour, depending on the assigned worksite. In addition, select worksites offer a $2.00 per hour stipend, which is added to the base rate.

Available Schedules – Overnight Sleep Shifts
All shifts include paid sleep hours in a residential support setting. These two (2) overnight sleep positions are benefit-eligible and accrue paid time off (PTO) on a bi-weekly basis. Eligible employees receive access to our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, Dental, Vision, and retirement.

Position 1 – 34 Hours/Week
- Friday: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- Saturday: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- Sunday: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
Position 2 – 40 Hours/Week
- Sunday 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- Monday 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- Tuesday 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- Wednesday 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM

What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you'll:
- Assist individuals in making choices and decisions that enhance their independence.
- Support daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Encourage participation in community activities and social events.
- Provide emotional and physical support, fostering a safe and respectful environment.
- Document and communicate progress, ensuring person-centered care
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (TASC) preferred.
- Exceptional communication and computer skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to be certified in all required trainings.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- One-year experience working with persons with disabilities (preferred).
