About Us:
We are a growing food manufacturing facility dedicated to producing high-quality products with a focus on safety, integrity, and efficiency. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our evening shift team.
Position Overview:
The Evening Shift Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting safe, reliable production by performing preventive maintenance, assisting with equipment breakdowns, and ensuring production lines are properly shut down and prepared for nightly sanitation. The technician will assist with line breakdowns and coordination with the sanitation crew as needed, while remaining primarily accountable for maintenance execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
- Perform repairs and troubleshoot conveyor systems or production equipment (Bearings, motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, and controls).
- Ensure sanitation is up to company standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, plumbing, welding, and light electrical issues as needed.
- Assist in general building repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all food safety and facility safety protocols (GMP, HACCP) .
- Document maintenance activities and report issues to management.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience in food manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Experience in machinery, plumbing, welding, and electrical strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to train and learn new skills.
- Self-motivated
- Must be able to work evening shift hours and weekends as needed.
