We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various functions essential to organizational success. Duties
- Assist with talent acquisition processes,
- Support employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the organization
- Maintain and update staff files
- Coordinate employee evaluation and performance management activities in alignment with organizational goals
- Support compliance efforts related to FMLA, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning
- Assist with project management initiatives related to change management, organization design, and succession planning
- Facilitate employee relations by addressing inquiries and supporting conflict management efforts
- Contribute to training & development programs aimed at workforce enhancement and skills improvement
- Prepare reports and data collection for HR metrics using tools like Salesforce or PeopleSoft
- Perform administrative tasks including data entry, contract processing, and document management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources or administrative roles within HR departments
- Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and applicant tracking systems (ATS) like iCIMS or Lever
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills
- Experience with benefits administration and payroll systems such as QuickBooks
- Proficiency in data collection, reporting tools, and HR analytics platforms like Oracle HCM or PeopleSoft
- Demonstrated ability in conflict management, employee relations, and strategic planning processes
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus
