Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality food and service to our guests. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital part in meal preparation, food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe cooking environment.
- Help with the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces.
- Support the culinary team in catering events and special functions as needed.
- Participate in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and assembling dishes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
- Assist in food expo to patio diners
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or a restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques will be beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
