Job Type: Part-time, Flexible Hours (Ideal for students, artists, or those seeking complementary work)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience, plus travel stipend.
Are You Ready to Be a Gymnastics Super-Hero?
We're not looking for a typical instructor; we're looking for an animated, energetic, and passionate performer who can turn a balance beam into a pirate ship and a tumbling mat into a magical forest!
Coach Mikes Gymnastics LLC runs a mobile program, bringing high-energy, foundational gymnastics and movement classes to preschools. We teach gross motor skills, coordination, and confidence through creative, imaginative play. If you love seeing the world through the eyes of a 3-year-old and can maintain a high-five-worthy level of enthusiasm all day, we want you!
What You Bring (The Qualities We Can't Teach):
We are prioritizing personality and passion over competitive gymnastics experience. The right person for this role is:
- Energetic & Animated: You have a commanding, theatrical presence that captivates a room of preschoolers. You are comfortable using silly voices, making dramatic facial expressions, and moving with enthusiasm.
- Engaging & Creative: You are a natural storyteller who can weave curriculum into an exciting adventure. You thrive on turning a simple movement into an imaginative game.
- Passionate About Children: You genuinely love working with the preschool age group (ages 2.5-5) and understand how to foster a safe, positive, and encouraging environment.
- Reliable & Professional: As a mobile program, punctuality and commitment are crucial. You must be dependable, professional when interacting with school staff, and able to manage a set schedule independently.
- Adaptable: You can quickly adjust lesson plans based on the size of the space, the energy level of the class, and the equipment available on any given day.
Your Day-to-Day Adventures:
- Travel to various preschool and daycare locations.
- Lead 30-45 minute, high-energy gymnastics and motor skills classes using our established curriculum (which you'll bring to life!).
- Set up and safely put away lightweight, mobile equipment (mats, props, cones).
- Provide a fun, positive, and supportive learning experience for every child.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience working with large groups of young children (daycare, camp counselor, coaching, or theatre education experience is a plus).
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check (Vulnerable Sector Check).
- Valid driver’s license .
- Ability to stand, jump, run, spot, and demonstrate movements for the entire class time.

If you are excited by the challenge of being a high-impact, mobile coach, we want to hear from you!
Please submit:
1. Your resume outlining your experience.
