Is an award-winning, 150-person structural and civil engineering firm headquartered in Seattle for over 100 years. This position is full-time and based in our downtown Seattle office.
Accepting applications for an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our team in Seattle. SUCCESSFUL CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

• Proficiently use Civil3D to design and apply modeling expertise in a variety of areas, including site grading, pipe networks, road alignments, and corridor modeling
  
• Proficiency in creating civil engineering design elements, as well as preparing technical drawings and construction plans
  
• Adept at successfully implementing developed standards to produce high quality documents
  
• Are self-motivated and strive for excellence in all aspects
  
• Have effective organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Consistently think beyond rote training to thoughtfully and creatively design civil solutions
  
• Display a desire for growth and welcome advancement opportunities
  
• Welcome the collaborative and iterative process that comes with designing world-class sites with landscape architects, architects, engineers, and clients
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate’s degree or certificate in Civil Design Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting, or similar field
  
• Experience with the following technical software: AutoCAD and Civil3D (Experience in Revit, Rhino, InfraWorks, VectorWorks, Global Mapper, and ArcGIS and/or familiarity with cloud sharing/data management platforms like ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360- though not required, is a plus)
  
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience with Civil3D modeling experience
  
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in an accessible manner
  
• Understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, and construction methods
  
• Experience with the following software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and BlueBeam
  
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
  

COMPENSATION

• Wage Scale: $75,000 - $100,000 annually

• This is an in-office position working from our renovated headquarters in downtown Seattle
