Accepting applications for an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our team in Seattle. SUCCESSFUL CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
- Proficiently use Civil3D to design and apply modeling expertise in a variety of areas, including site grading, pipe networks, road alignments, and corridor modeling
- Proficiency in creating civil engineering design elements, as well as preparing technical drawings and construction plans
- Adept at successfully implementing developed standards to produce high quality documents
- Are self-motivated and strive for excellence in all aspects
- Have effective organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Consistently think beyond rote training to thoughtfully and creatively design civil solutions
- Display a desire for growth and welcome advancement opportunities
- Welcome the collaborative and iterative process that comes with designing world-class sites with landscape architects, architects, engineers, and clients
- Associate’s degree or certificate in Civil Design Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting, or similar field
- Experience with the following technical software: AutoCAD and Civil3D (Experience in Revit, Rhino, InfraWorks, VectorWorks, Global Mapper, and ArcGIS and/or familiarity with cloud sharing/data management platforms like ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360- though not required, is a plus)
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience with Civil3D modeling experience
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in an accessible manner
- Understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, and construction methods
- Experience with the following software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and BlueBeam
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Wage Scale: $75,000 - $100,000 annually
