Summary The Research Associate I assumes the responsibility of performing basic, biological, behavioral, social science or public health research within the specified research program. The Research Associate provides technical and analytical supportfor various research programs across all Moffitt divisions and may have administrative and training responsibilities, as assigned. Research Associates work under the general supervision of a Principal Investigator (Pl) and may work as part toof a team under the direct supervision of more senior lab personnel. Research Associates participate in the planning, development, and implementation of original experimental procedures within the overall scope of the project. Dr. Javier Pinilla's lab is recruiting a Research Associate I. The lab is studying the effects of clinically available BCR Pathway-specific kinase inhibitors, PI3Ki and BTKi, and how they modulate the regulatory microenvironment, specifically the TME and T cell dysregulation involved in CLL preservation. Ideal Candidate: Specific skillsets required for this position are: proficiency in general laboratory techniques, cell culture techniques, general proficiency in computers, immunoblotting (Western Blot), and flow cytometry. Responsibilities: Performs basic, biological, or public health research within the specified research program. Assist other members of the laboratory Administrative duties: maintain lab supply inventory, order lab supplies Credentials and Qualifications: A bachelor's Degree in a related field is required. Hands-on research experience is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Salary Range $18.19 - $27.83 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
