Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food orders efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash, credit card payments, and giving accurate change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas to ensure food safety compliance.
- Assist with food handling duties, including serving customers, bussing tables, and supporting food safety management practices.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while adhering to sanitation standards and food safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments with a strong understanding of food safety protocols.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items and create positive guest interactions.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
