This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Construction Estimating based in Jacksonville, FL. The Director will oversee and manage all aspects of estimating for construction projects, including cost assessments, budget planning, and procurement strategies. Responsibilities also include collaborating with teams to maintain accuracy, ensuring adherence to financial goals, and integrating market pricing insights to support decision-making. The Director will play a critical role in leveraging CO-Ver’s platform and driving efficiency in project planning and cost management processes.

• Proficient in Budgeting and Cost Management, with strong financial acumen.
• Expertise in Procurement and contract negotiation strategies for construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Construction processes and methodologies.
• Educational background in Civil Engineering or related fields, with practical experience in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to evaluate and verify project costs effectively.
• Proficiency in leveraging technology and tools for cost estimation, including familiarity with AI-powered platforms.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to align with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in construction development, particularly on the developer/owner side, is highly desirable.
