Co-op Supply is looking for a driver/warehouse to join our team! We are looking to fill a full-time position in our Marysville Store. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly energetic and can handle a fast-paced environment. The successful person in this position will be self-motivated, proactive, energetic, and willing to support all members of our team at Co-op Supply.

RESPONSIBLITIES

Driver & warehouse position is responsible for providing fast, friendly service to all customers and participating in team environment to accomplish daily tasks in the warehouse, store transfers, deliveries, outside yards and store. This position is instrumental in loading/unloading and maintaining products for staff and customers at the retail stores to improve the cooperative’s efficiency and help achieve the cooperative’s mission and goals.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Politely greet and fulfill customer orders with attention to detail and follow receipt procedures.
• Perform Inter-store transfers, customer deliveries and other driving responsibilities as assigned by management while prioritizing safety at all times.
• Manage and organize deliveries and document mileage/delivery logs.
• Must prioritize workload and multitask in fast paced environment, with excellent follow-through.
• Contribute to team efforts of accomplishing daily tasks, with ability to take direction.
• Offload incoming freight trucks, verifying incoming loads against packing slips, report any discrepancies.
• Safely fill Propane tanks.
• Safely operate the company vehicle, forklift to move, load and organize pallets and other large, heavy products.
• Follow daily stocking and rotational procedures for overall sight, in store, warehouse, yard and store front.
• Maintain open constructive communication with store managers and staff.
• Obtain and maintain all safety training and certification necessary to position.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Have excellent organizational skills, planning skills and time management skills.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Exhibit a fair level of product knowledge.
• Must have basic levels of computer knowledge and be proficient in email use.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, pay attention to details and be a team player.

OPERATING EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Complete forklift training/certification upon hire.
• Must safely operate a forklift and company vehicle while transporting inventory.
• Must obey all traffic laws, conduct pre/post trip safety checks and report incidents.
• Ensure vehicle is fueled, clean and well maintained.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
• Load/unload inventory on/off company vehicle.
• Move, lift and handle boxes of merchandise throughout the store.
• Stock shelves, fill merchandise and keep the store clean and safe.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and more at times.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
