School Nutrition Supervisor / 12 Month (Full Time)
The Greeneville City Schools' School Nutrition Supervisor is responsible for directing the operations of the National Meal Program with excellence in accordance with the local, state, and federal rules and regulations as well as continually improving the vision for the program. Candidates shoudl be an individual with an innovative mindset, a passion for children’s health and well-being, and have the ability to inspire others through effective leadership. The full time position will work 40 hours per week and DOES include benefits.
Educational/Experience Requirements: (Per TRR/MS 0520-02-06-.03)
- Associate’s Degree in a specific related major* AND at least 2 years of relevant school nutrition programs experience; or
- Bachelor’s Degree in any major AND at least 2 years of relevant school nutrition experience; or
- A valid Tennessee teacher license with a school food service supervisor endorsement or a food production and management services endorsement; or
- Bachelor’s Degree in any major AND a School Nutrition Association Level 3 Certificate in School Nutrition, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent educational experience in a specific related major*
*Specific/related major: Academic major or concentration in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field.
Previous leadership and food service experience a plus.
Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.
