- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, to include knowledge of office procedures and filing
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with multiple vendors
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions
Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience that equates to a high school diploma
- Experience with using personal computers
- Experience working in a library
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience with word processing and spreadsheets, including Microsoft Office
- Experience in library technical services (i.e., acquisitions and cataloging)
- Experience working with a library ILS
- Experience working with an automated library system
- This is an HOURLY position and does NOT entitle the incumbent to Commonwealth of Virginia benefits and is limited to 1500 hours in a 365-day period.
- Selected candidate will be required to attend a 2-Day New Employee Orientation Program.
