The Clinical Interwiever reflects the mission, vision, and values of CNS Memry Clinic, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Under general supervision, the Clinical Interwiever provides neuropsychological assessment fo adult patients. This position requires good judgment in rendering safe, ethical, and effective patient care. Excellent interpersonal skills and an appreciation of a transdisciplinary approach to case management are also required.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Interwiever conducts interwievs with patients all ages under the direction of a neuropsychologist, clinical director or shief neuropsychologist assisstant, according to standardized instructions and clinical protocols.
Clinical Interwiever connects with patients, explains testing procedures to patients and is responsible for obtaining accurate and reliable data while engaging the patient during the clinical interwiev, recording behavioral observations and data into an electronic/paper medical record and maintaining a professional and compassionate environment. They have to be abe to connect with patients, get to know them, their story, their problems and to be able to direct conversation in a smooth and caring manner, while asking additional questions and keeping patiets on track.
Demonstrates an understanding of computer software (including Microsoft Office) and is responsible for entering patient demographics and other data, and navigating the software to process outputs comprising of reports and tables.
Filling out standard forms and compose standart reports under supervision.
Consults with providers regarding patient conserns, performance and behaviors. Works closely with psychometrists and neuropsychologist, providing them with valuable data about patiet' history and needs.
Participates in educational programs, in-service meetings, clinician meetings, and workshops to enhance professional development and maintain currency of methodology and techniques.
Completes other duties under the direction of the neuropsychologist.
Qualifications Required:
Kind, caring and confident person, able to connect with people and re-direct them during conversation, with non-conflict attitude to a life and people.
Comfort working with a deversity of patients. Obtaine non-jujmental, compationate approach to different cultures, languages, genders, ages.
Eager and able to learn and become a professional in psychology field.
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in psychology or a closely related field with at leas 1 year clinical expirience and ability to provide reccommendations.
Detail oriented, punctual, reliable and able to multi-task.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency required.
Preferred:
Master degree in psychology or closely related field.
Knowledge of Psychopathology (theoretical and practical)
Experience in Psychometry, Neuropsychology, Psychology or Education
Medical Assistant training helpful.

Schedule: Monday-Friday. Typically 8 to 5.
