Position Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished Project Manager to partner directly with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and executive leadership team in driving strategic initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills, with a proven ability to influence senior leaders and manage high-visibility business programs.
This role requires a polished professional who can translate complex business and financial information into executive-level presentations, facilitate decision-making, and ensure seamless execution of strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Partnership & Strategic Program Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CFO and executive leadership team.
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial objectives.
- Drive planning, execution, governance, and reporting of enterprise-wide projects and transformation programs.
- Coordinate activities across Finance, Operations, Technology, HR, Sales, and other business functions.
Executive Communication & Presentations
- Develop high-impact executive presentations, board materials, business reviews, and leadership communications.
- Create concise and compelling narratives from complex financial, operational, and business data.
- Present project updates, risks, recommendations, and business insights to C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate executive meetings, steering committees, and leadership workshops.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with senior executives, business leaders, and external partners.
- Act as the primary liaison between the CFO's office and key stakeholders.
- Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus across diverse teams.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
Governance & Reporting
- Establish project governance frameworks, KPIs, executive dashboards, and reporting structures.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Provide proactive recommendations to leadership regarding project priorities and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Financial & Business Planning Support
- Support annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with finance teams to analyze business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist the CFO in preparing strategic business reviews, investor presentations, and executive reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- 12 years of project/program management experience, including executive-facing initiatives.
- Experience working directly with C-suite executives, preferably CFOs, CEOs, or Board members.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide strategic programs and organizational transformations.
- Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and business operations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding executive presentation and storytelling abilities.
- Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, executive dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
- Experience within Fortune 500, consulting, financial services, healthcare, technology, or large enterprise environments.
