Job Purpose
The Sr. Agile Tool Engineer is responsible for development, delivery, administration, governance, operational stability, and continuous improvement of Agile delivery platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Polarion) across CNH Precision Electronics Product Development (PEPD). This role drives scalable planning, execution, reporting, and collaboration across engineering and business organizations by ensuring tools are reliable, standardized, secure, and aligned to enterprise delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
The annual salary for this role is USD $86,625.00 - $132,825.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Job Purpose
The Sr. Agile Tool Engineer is responsible for development, delivery, administration, governance, operational stability, and continuous improvement of Agile delivery platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Polarion) across CNH Precision Electronics Product Development (PEPD). This role drives scalable planning, execution, reporting, and collaboration across engineering and business organizations by ensuring tools are reliable, standardized, secure, and aligned to enterprise delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce enterprise governance standards for Agile tooling structures, hierarchy models, workflows, configuration consistency, and data governance practices
- Partner with engineering, product, and program leadership to standardize portfolio, program, ART, and team-level planning structures aligned to organizational delivery frameworks (SAFe, portfolio planning, ART execution, etc.)
- Drive enterprise planning, roadmap visibility, leadership reporting, and operational metrics through scalable tooling structures, reporting models, and data quality initiatives
- Drive and maintain integrations between Agile platforms and enterprise systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, Polarion, Aha!, Service Management tools) to ensure operational continuity and data consistency
- Develop, implement, and support automation and platform enhancements to improve operational efficiency, user experience, reporting capabilities, and tooling scalability
- Identify, evaluate and support emerging capabilities, including AI-assisted workflows, analytics, and operational tooling improvements
- Provide technical consultation and guidance to teams on scalable Agile tooling practices and operational best practices
- Drive large-scale organizational initiatives, migrations, and platform transformation efforts across Agile tooling ecosystems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer information systems, Computer/Software Engineering, Business, or related field
- 4 years of experience administering tools (Jira, Confluence, Polarion, or similar platforms)
- Experience supporting enterprise software users and environments
- Strong understanding of Agile tool usage and workflows
- Experience managing permissions, configurations, and operational support processes
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Atlassian certifications (Atlassian Administrator, Jira Cloud Administrator, etc.)
- Experience in large-scale or enterprise tool environments
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Agile delivery frameworks
- Experience with integrations between Atlassian tools and other enterprise systems
- Exposure to IT service management or support models
- Familiarity with the core DevSecOps principals
