Job Purpose
The Driveline Engineering team, based in Oak Brook, designs and develops transmissions and axles for CNH’s large tractor product lines. By working on both current production and next-generation driveline systems, the team ensures performance, reliability, and innovation in one of the most critical systems of agricultural equipment.
As a Driveline Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with design, modeling, and analysis of driveline components while contributing to real-world projects that impact CNH products.

Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, or a related field.
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $19.00 - $31.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with the design, integration, and application of driveline components and systems for large tractor programs
- Supporting transmission architecture development activities
- Creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings in Pro-E for parts and component assemblies
- Performing stress and life calculations to confirm that components and systems meet performance requirements
- Troubleshooting and solving complex engineering problems with guidance from the driveline team
- Collaborating with engineers to support production and new product development initiatives
- Traveling as needed to the Racine manufacturing plant or Racine Lakeside test facility to support design validation activities
