Automated Test Engineer (Mid-Level) – Colorado Springs, CO
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
CNF Technologies is searching for a Mid-Level Automation Tester to support United States Space Force (USSF). This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:
- Analyze test results and coordinate with the development teams for bug fixes
- Analyze underlying causes of performance issues and provide corrective action
- Develop automated test scenario(s) and environment for performance testing
- Review and recommend improvements in existing test procedures
- Coordination with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases
- Must be able to use all web methods like GET, PUT, POST, DELETE etc.
- Must be able to validate xml and json body using json parser
- Know how to use the OAuth and OAuth2 authentication mechanisms
- Must be able to Load and Security testing on web services
- Design and develop test automation scripts to create, enhance, debug, and run test cases
- Using test automation guidelines, researching issues in software through testing to validate feedback, response time, & error code.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Programming Languages (at least 2):
- Java, Angular, Gitlab, RHEL, JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr & Python
- Experience or knowledge in the following areas: Agile methodologies, agile project management, software development life cycle management, cross-functional team, agile software testing, test-driven development, software test planning, software test automation
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity & knowledge:
- SIMP Project, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana,
- Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command
- Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software
Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software
development, or STEM related specialty and 4 years’ related professional experience.
- SAFe for Teams, ISTQB Test Automation Engineer, Agile Technical Tester, & Implementing
CLEARANCE:
Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with
SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.
LOCATION/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Place of work is Colorado Springs, remote work opportunity is available. You may be
required to travel periodically, less than 10%.
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $90,000/year to $110,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract rates, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. CNF also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
