Our busy metal fabrication facility is seeking a skilled indoor/outdoor forklift operator to join our team. This is a hands-on position supporting daily production, material handling, and general shop operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts indoors and outdoors
- Unload flat steel trucks and inspect incoming materials
- Load products onto flatbed and van trailers
- Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the shop
- Assist with product assembly and general labor tasks
- Perform media blasting as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a shop/yard environment
- Ability to handle heavy materials safely and efficiently
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in assembly
- Experience with media blasting beneficial (willing to train the right candidate)
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a team environment
- Reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
