Manufacturing Painter

A growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Painter to support our production team. This position is responsible for preparing and applying high-quality industrial coatings to metal components and assemblies in a clean, organized shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare metal parts for paint (cleaning, masking, sanding, solvent wipe-down)
• Mix and apply urethane-based coatings
• Operate HVLP spray equipment, including Graco Sharpe spray guns
• Ensure consistent coverage and professional-quality finish
• Inspect painted parts for runs, defects, or inconsistencies
• Perform touch-ups and rework as needed
• Maintain paint booth, tools, and materials
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial or equipment painting experience
• Experience with urethane or two-part coating systems
• Skilled with HVLP spray systems
• Ability to properly mix coatings and understand cure times
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and team-oriented mindset
