CNC Machinist – Multi‑Axis Turn/Mill

About Us
We are a well‑established valve manufacturer in Roebling seeking a skilled CNC Multi‑Axis Turn/Mill Machinist to join our production team. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating advanced CNC equipment to produce precision components for production and stock. Our facility is air‑conditioned and offers health insurance and a retirement plan.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC multi‑axis turn/mill machines
- Perform multiple setups on CNC lathes and milling machines
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, thread gauges, plug gauges, and optical comparators
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
- Machine aluminum, stainless steel, and alloy steels
- Maintain accuracy, quality, and production efficiency
- Follow safety procedures and proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs)
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Equipment
You will work with a Stallion B750 SLY 5‑Axis Turn/Mill Center, featuring:
- 1 servo turret with 16‑station direct‑drive built‑in motor
- Capacity for up to 96 tools
- Fanuc 32iT controller
- Multi‑axis turn/mill capability
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience (lathe and/or milling)
- Ability to program and operate CNC equipment
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with aluminum, stainless steel, and alloy steel machining
- Computer literacy
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to learn and adapt
