The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the overall execution of invoice payments and expense reimbursements for the bank. They will ensure that all invoices and expense reimbursements are approved accordingly, as well as coded and vouched accurately. The Accounts Payable Specialist will keep the Accounts Payable Manager informed of any unresolved issues, while maintaining appropriate source documents and providing all required documentation, as needed.

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. An Associate Degree, or equivalent, from a two-year college; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both, and general accounting knowledge (debits & credits) preferred. Key Responsibilities
- Overall execution of invoice payments and expense reimbursements for the bank.
- Ensuring that all invoices and expense reimbursements are approved accordingly, as well as coded accurately for each respective division.
- Accurately prepare and process invoices, corporate card payments and employee reimbursements for the bank.
- Responding to inquiries related to the Accounts Payable function.
- Internal communications
- Vendor Inquiries
- Research & Audits
- Create and maintain vendor/supplier records and employee/user profiles.
- Includes adding payment & tax information
- Aid in the conversion of physical AP documentation by scanning & indexing into the digital archive system.
- Assist with year-end 1099 Tax Preparation as needed.
