Description

The management trainee program is an opportunity to develop the future leaders of our organization. The trainee will have a unique experience by receiving an overview of all the major departments/divisions of the bank with an opportunity to collaborate while gaining knowledge and experience.


Project(s) throughout the experience will allow the trainee to demonstrate their abilities and provide insight into specific areas of banking. The bank values the trainee’s unique perspectives and encourages them to share their innovative thoughts and suggestions both in their reports and meetings.


The management trainee program is your opportunity to demonstrate your abilities to observe, discover, and contribute to each department. This requires clear communication with all stakeholders, and the ability to work autonomously while being accountable for your time in each department to maximize the learning experience.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. A college diploma is required, with related experience and secondary education preferred. Successful completion of required background checks is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.


TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to use telephone systems and possess good computer skills including email, internet and intranet use. Foundational use of computer programs and systems pertinent to performing job duties is also required.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others. Ability to travel frequently to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
