TEMP-TO-HIRE POSITION

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial equipment and machinery to produce high-quality components and products. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will ensure efficient production processes while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Set up, operate, and monitor various machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and GD&T compliance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on industrial equipment such as CNC machines, CAM programming tools, and fabrication machinery to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on all machinery following established safety standards in production environments.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; prepare parts for packaging and shipping.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, tooling adjustments, and quality control inspections to uphold manufacturing excellence.

Skills

• Proficiency with Fanuc controls, CNC programming, CAM programming, and interpreting G-code instructions.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and mechanical blueprints accurately.
• Experience operating shop tools such as welding equipment, hand tools, stamping presses, press brakes, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and fabrication tools.
• Familiarity with CAD software like SolidWorks for design interpretation and modifications.
• Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to perform shop math accurately for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances.
• Skilled in troubleshooting industrial equipment issues quickly to minimize production delays.
• Warehouse experience including materials handling and packaging procedures.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes including dimensional measurements and GD&T principles.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
