Duties
- Operate CNC machines and other fabrication equipment to produce high-quality components.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, applying GD&T principles as necessary.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure product accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in machining or fabrication within a factory setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery.
- Familiarity with programming CNC machines is preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
- Experience with press brake machines is a plus.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
