Job Title: Heating Oil Liquid Propane Service Technician
Job Requirements
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and background check.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Class B or C CDL with Hazmat preferred but not required for initial employment
- Willingness and ability to obtain CDL B with tank, airbrake, and Hazmat endorsement within 18 months of employment is required. CN Brown will help facilitate the process contractually.
- License authorities are required to perform certain tasks. C.N. Brown Energy is willing to offer additional CETP training for the right candidate.
- Ability to set liquid propane tanks, install vapor distribution systems, and perform leak test (s) to ensure system (s) pass all state and local regulations as well as all NFPA codes and standards.
- Perform repairs and maintenance of company and customer owned equipment dependent on license authority.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide service to our customers that is efficient, polite, and maintains a high standard of professionalism.
- Install and/or repair LP gas service systems for company and customer owned equipment. Safe operation of service vehicle
- Maintain vehicle appearance and operating condition daily
- Accurate record keeping of repairs, installations, and leak checks.
- Monthly inventory counts of warehouse and vehicle
- Performing every duty in a safe and efficient manner
- Strict adherence to NFPA, state, and local codes and company policies and procedures
- Availability to be on call after hours
