We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced office environment.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service while managing customer accounts throughout their entire lifecycle—from enrollment through collections. This position also includes general accounting responsibilities and offers opportunities to cross-train in other departments.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, and written correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
- Process new customer enrollments and maintain customer accounts.
- Receive and process customer payments accurately.
- Assist with account collections and payment arrangements.
- Prepare and distribute customer mailings.
- Maintain department spreadsheets and databases.
- Prepare reports for management.
- Perform general accounting and administrative duties.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Cross-train and provide support to other departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and word, is required.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
- Basic accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous customer service or office experience is required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new responsibilities.
