Job Title: CNC Programmer – Experience Required
Industry: Aerospace Machine Shop / Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop
CMT Inc, a diversified aerospace and defense parts manufacturer, located in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas, is seeking an experienced CNC programmer to support new customer growth. The ability to effectively program 3, 4, and 5 axis mills, water jet, and CNC routers using Mastercam is required. The ideal candidate will have 3 years working experience with machining aluminum and titanium using current generation high speed machining techniques. Must be capable to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Mastercam CAD / CAM software
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO QMS requirements.
- Applicable CNC machine operating experience.
- Working knowledge of various aerospace materials.
- Understanding of 3D modeling, fixture/holding, cutter selection, and nesting.
- Knowledge of aerospace engineering drawings, drafting methods and terminology, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) and dimensional inspection methods.
- Must be U.S. Citizen due to ITAR requirements.
Other Job Duties:
- Participate in the development of work instructions and other manufacturing documentation to be used by machinists and operators.
- Support the configuration management of CNC programs and other machine documentation.
- Assist estimating department with job bid support.
