Key Responsibilities
- Support production scheduling and coordination to ensure material availability and workflow continuity
- Assist in aligning ERP system data with actual shop floor activity
- Coordinate with operations and assembly teams, ensuring clear and professional communication across all stakeholders
- Identify and help resolve bottlenecks impacting production, delivery timelines, or efficiency
- Manage purchasing processes including purchase order creation, vendor communication, and order tracking
- Support material receiving, inventory control, and cycle count activities
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and resolving discrepancies
- Coordinate material movement and ensure timely availability for production needs
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems (Acumatica experience a plus) to manage purchasing, inventory, and operational data
- Support accuracy and integrity of system data related to materials, orders, and inventory
- Interface with customer procurement systems (such as Ariba) to support order processing and documentation requirements
- Support quoting and proposal development by coordinating material, labor, vendor, and operational inputs to ensure accurate and achievable customer commitments
- Support internal project coordination by tracking progress, aligning cross-functional activities, and identifying risks to schedule, materials, or execution
- Ensure alignment between customer requirements, ERP data, and operational execution to support on-time and accurate delivery
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes through data entry, documentation, and coordination
- Assist with invoice matching, vendor communication, and internal tracking of transactions
- Work with internal team and outsourced accounting partners to ensure timely and accurate processing
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve workflows across operations and administrative functions
- Support small projects related to process improvements, system enhancements, or operational efficiency
- Contribute to development and documentation of standard operating procedures
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or operations-support environment
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (Acumatica, SAP, AS400, or similar)
- Strong understanding of inventory control, purchasing, and material flow
- Experience supporting shipping, receiving, or production environments preferred
- Exposure to customer procurement systems (Ariba or similar) is a plus
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
