If this is something you are looking for, we'd love to have you on board!Position Description:We are seeking a dedicated Controller to oversee the financial operations of our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Valley Stream, NY. This is a full-time, in-person role responsible for managing accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance within a healthcare environment. The position is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Qualifications of the Controller:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years' healthcare accounting experience, preferably within skilled nursing or long-term care settings Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement processes and regulatory requirements Proficient in accounting software and financial reporting systems CPA certification preferred Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Responsibilities of the Controller:Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payrollPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support financial planning Ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid regulations and reporting requirements Coordinate annual audits and act as the primary liaison with external auditors Supervise, train, and develop accounting staff to ensure high performance and accuracy Establish, implement, and maintain internal controls and financial policies If you're a skilled and experienced Controller looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in our Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF ) we want YOU to apply!
